Alessandro Desogos

Alessandro is a native of Sardegna, born and raised in Cuglieri, in the Province of Oristano. Alessandro has been working as a professional photographer for the last 15 years and he has lived in Milan, London, Buenos Aires, New York, and now in San Francisco. Alessandro’s passion besides photography is traveling, cooking, food, and wine. Alessandro is multi-lingual and can speak English, Spanish, Italian, and of course, his own Sardinian dialect. Alessandro brings his expertise and knowledge of his home to you so that you, the traveler, will feel at ease and will have the most authentic Sardinian travel experience.

Thy Pham Desogos

When Thy met Alessandro 8 years ago, she never knew how fortunate she would become to have Sardegna as her second home. Thy, a self proclaimed food lover, has worked in the food industry for years doing sales, food writing, catering, and restaurant work. Thy also studied and minored in Nutrition in college. Growing up in a Vietnamese family brought Thy great perspective on appreciating and respecting the value and traditions of food. Thy’s passion is studying how culture and food are synonymous, and how important they are to the human existence. Fortunately and thankfully, Alessandro introduced Sardegna to Thy several years back, and from the moment she stepped on the island she fell in love with the people, the food, and its gorgeous surroundings. Since then Thy travels to Sardegna on an annual basis. Thy speaks her native language English, Vietnamese, and conversational Italian. Thy’s goal to is to show the the beauty and unique experience that Sardegna has to offer.
